Better Luck Tomorrow movie review
Better Luck Tomorrow was released in 2002 and is directed by Justin Lin.
It is written by Ernesto Foronda, Fabian Marquez and Justin Lin.
The movie is about a group of smart Asian Americans teenagers who
become bored and start committing small crimes and slow start getting
involved in bigger crimes.
This movie features the first appearance of the character Han from the Fast and Furious series. This is one of the few movies I have seen featuring an all Asian American cast. The cast include Parry Shen, Sung Kang and John Cho.
It is the first movie Justin Lin directed solo. He co-directed his previous movie. It is loosely based on the murder of Stuart Tay in 1992. This movie features realistic, believable characters that are brought to life by some fantastic acting.
I highly recommend this if you are a fan of the Fast and Furious series, even if you are not a fan of that series I think you should see this movie as it is great.
